about
A few years ago, my grandmother Ellen Neville passed away from Alzheimer's Disease. It was a hard time for me and my family and to cope with it, I wrote this song. I want this to help spread awareness about the disease and give patients' families something to listen to during those hard times.
All proceeds from this song will go to the Alzheimer's Association to help provide care for Alzheimer's sufferers and advance research about the disease in search of a cure.
Yesterday you knew my name
You held my hand and knew my name
Yesterday I kissed your cheek
And it felt warm with memories
Oh, will tomorrow be better
Or will I just be a stranger again
Today you lost my name
You looked right through me and lost my name
Today you sat in fear
Repeating the words I don't belong here
Oh, will tomorrow be better
Or will I just be a stranger
Oh, will tomorrow be better
Or will I just be a stranger again
Yesterday we laughed with hope
You told us all your favorite jokes
But today you don't know your name
You have no doubt tomorrow will be the same
Oh, will tomorrow be better
Or will I just be a stranger
Oh, will tomorrow be better
Or will I just be a stranger
Will I just be a stranger
Will I just be a stranger
Will I just be a stranger again
Yesterday you knew my name
Please lord let tomorrow be the same
